Cannot reboot after flash – Dreambox DMHD / DM / DMse / DM / DM+ – Dreamboard
Hope things will progress quickly I saw some threads that seems to concern this subject but I don’t understand German! So, as you, I decided to Flash the box with the lasted published soft. I received my new DM yesterday. Hi Gedeon, I vmlinux.fz my dreambox yesterday as you. Vmlinux.ggz, do you know how to get an boot log? However, when I can connect to the box, I can flash it again but the result is always the same as first described, it doesn’t finish booting and hangs with a blank LCD screen.
I already made several hours of trials around this and starts to get mad! From the extensions panel, i ran Barryallen, installed BH07withss69, selected him for boot, and now the box have booted on it So may be this box have an technic problem I don’t know why!
The time now is Is it possible that the box has a hardware problem?
DM800 frozen “dhcp… /flash/vmlinux.gz”
These things don’t fix themselves and if vmlimux.gz dont exchange the box and it gets out of warranty then you are stuck with the problem. Bookmarks Bookmarks Digg del. But this time it doesn’t help. Triax fixed to 5,9,13,16, After installing gemini it reloads the bootlader that came with the file in other words it put bootloader 62 back on.
If not, wha’t the difference between the 2 ways of doing it? Thank you in advance for any support Well my was send to DM and the mainboard was fine, it turned out to be the powersupply.
If its vmlinjx.gz clone you’re on your own – most likely the Gemini image bricked it. But things appeared to work fine. And one other guy, have responded him: If the result would be the same, I will need to find an other solution than just flashing the box.
